Ugandan artist King Saha has once again spoken out about unresolved tensions in the music industry, making it clear that he still expects apologies from fellow musicians Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone over comments he considers deeply disrespectful.
In a televised interview, King Saha revisited incidents from previous years, explaining that certain remarks directed at him left a lasting impact and continue to shape how he views his relationships with some senior figures in the industry.
He specifically pointed at Bebe Cool, saying the veteran musician once used insulting language about him, including referring to him as “a mad person,” a statement he insists was never withdrawn or followed by any form of apology.
Despite the strong criticism directed at Bebe Cool, King Saha spoke with a more balanced tone when discussing Chameleone, acknowledging that their relationship carries a different weight due to personal and professional history.
He described Chameleone as someone he respects and still considers a mentor and family figure, but maintained that respect does not erase the need for accountability regarding past hurtful remarks.
King Saha stressed that his intention is not to escalate conflict, but rather to highlight what he sees as unresolved issues that should be addressed openly if genuine respect is to exist between artists.
At the same time, he moved to dismiss speculation about any dispute with Pallaso, stating clearly that there is no problem between them and rejecting claims that they are in conflict.
He concluded by reiterating that his call for apologies is about principle rather than personal revenge, insisting that acknowledgment of past wrongs is essential for unity and professionalism in Uganda’s music scene.
