My name is Andrew, and I am from Kampala, Uganda. Like many fresh graduates, I left university with big dreams and high expectations of building a successful career.
However, instead of landing a job, I encountered one disappointment after another. Three different companies rejected my applications despite my academic qualifications, and there were moments when I began doubting whether I would ever achieve my goals.
I am sharing my journey today to inspire anyone who may be struggling with similar challenges.Shortly after completing my studies, I sent out applications to several organizations in search of employment.
I was fortunate to be shortlisted by three respected companies and attended interviews feeling optimistic about my chances. Unfortunately, none of the opportunities worked out, and I received rejection notices from all three employers.
The repeated setbacks left me discouraged, financially strained, and uncertain about my future. It was particularly difficult watching former classmates secure promising jobs while I remained without work.
Even with these disappointments, I chose not to abandon my ambitions. I focused on strengthening my abilities, enrolled in leadership and professional development programs, and began exploring alternative paths outside conventional employment.
