Our family is based in Wakiso District, Uganda. For nearly two years, we tirelessly searched for a land title that had mysteriously gone missing. At one point, we feared the document was gone forever and that we had lost access to one of our family’s most important assets.
We have chosen to share our experience to inspire others facing similar challenges not to give up.The problem started when we needed the land title to secure a bank loan aimed at expanding our family business.
We carefully checked every drawer, cabinet, file, and storage space in our home, but the document could not be found. As time passed, we even began to suspect that it might have been taken by someone.
