Ugandan musician Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso, has responded to his critics, saying that he has already achieved everything he ever wanted in life despite the challenges and criticism he has faced throughout his career.
The singer, who comes from the famous Mayanja music family alongside legendary artistes Jose Chameleone, Weasel and AK 47, said he does not measure his success based on what people say about him but on the journey he has travelled and the milestones he has reached.
Pallaso said many people judge him based on his mistakes, controversies and difficult moments but often ignore the achievements he has made in the music industry.
According to the singer, he has worked hard to build his name, create music that has touched many people and establish himself as one of Uganda’s recognized artistes.
“Everything I have ever wanted in life, I have achieved,” Pallaso said while responding to those who continue criticizing his career and personal choices.
The musician explained that success means different things to different people, adding that he considers himself successful because he has been able to accomplish many of his dreams.

Pallaso said he has been blessed with the opportunity to perform for thousands of fans, travel to different countries and create a legacy through his music.
He argued that critics often focus on a person’s weaknesses while ignoring the struggles and sacrifices that helped them reach where they are today.
The singer said he has faced many challenges in his journey, including pressure from the public, competition in the entertainment industry and personal battles that have tested his strength.
However, he maintained that those experiences have helped him grow and become stronger as an individual and as an artiste.
Pallaso emphasized that he is proud of his achievements and does not regret the path he has taken because every experience has contributed to the person he has become.
He also advised people not to allow criticism from others to destroy their confidence or make them forget their own accomplishments.
The singer said everyone has their own definition of success and people should focus on improving themselves rather than comparing their lives with others.
Pallaso’s comments come after years of public attention surrounding his music career, family background and personal life.
Being part of the Mayanja family has placed him under constant public scrutiny, with many people comparing him to his elder brother Jose Chameleone, one of Uganda’s biggest music stars.

Despite the comparisons, Pallaso has continued to build his own identity and has released several songs that have gained popularity among music lovers.
He has repeatedly said that his journey is unique and should not always be measured against the achievements of other members of his family.
The singer believes that his contribution to Uganda’s entertainment industry is significant and deserves recognition.
He encouraged young artistes to remain focused, work hard and believe in their abilities despite criticism from people around them.
Pallaso concluded by maintaining that he is grateful for his achievements and will continue pursuing his passion for music while ignoring negativity from his critics.
He said his focus remains on creating more music, inspiring his fans and continuing the legacy of the Mayanja family in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
