Hon. Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu, the Member of Parliament-elect for Bulambuli District and the Deputy Speaker-to-be in the Parliament of Uganda, has joined the rest of the world in celebrating women on International Women’s Day. In his message, he praised women for their strength, resilience, and the important role they continue to play in shaping families, communities, and the country.
Hon. Wepukhulu noted that women remain a powerful force in society because of their dedication, courage, and love. He explained that through their hard work and commitment, women continue to build strong families and inspire positive change in communities across the country. According to him, their contributions are visible in homes, workplaces, and leadership spaces where they continue to make a difference.
The MP-elect emphasized that women deserve recognition and appreciation not only on International Women’s Day but every day. He said women’s efforts often go beyond what many people see, as they sacrifice a lot to support their families, raise children, and contribute to national development. Their resilience, he said, continues to create a brighter future for the next generation.
Hon. Wepukhulu also encouraged women to remain confident and continue pursuing their dreams and leadership roles. He noted that when women are empowered and supported, communities become stronger and more united.
